Hard question to answer. The admin is very involved with the posting etc. I used to love Putts hands off approach. They censor downvoting here but otherwise allow pretty much everything else. It's very different but It's a good place.

PS I plan to sign up for a $10 month donation if that tells you anything.

What does the "offensive" tag effectively do? Does it hide it from lurkers? Delist from the front page? Or is it just cosmetic? Sorry but I guess I missed what's going on here.

By default certain categories of guilds are not visible on All and Trending. They are censored but you can opt-in into seeing them again. Oh, and currently no way to opt-in from mobile.
