And as usual discord was involved with the censorship and power seizing. Discord is old tumblr's newest incarnation and it's about time people started recognizing it as the threat it is.
Saw that, it's depressing to see a another Ruqquser so demoralized with the current administration. But they said they'll be trying Poal, so hopefully we'll see them here :D.
I agreed with a lot of what they said towards the end experiencing it first hand of the admin bullshit. It's terrible what they're doing to the userbase, but at this point it seems like there's nothing we can do about it.

Did you come from Ruqqus?
I've been on Voat for five years. But I was more active on ruqqus the past half a year.
Why did you come to poal?
Ruqqus admins claim to support free speech but their actions say otherwise. I'm not going to contribute to a site that actively tries to censor me and likeminded folks. Deleted my ruqqus account and came here. I'm still keeping tabs on the site to see how things develop, but that's likely temporary.
It's a shame, really, because I like ruqqus UI, image embedding, and I felt like I could have productive discussions there, even if it's a significantly younger userbase compared to Voat and Poal.
