I was hesitant to join ruqqus from the start, had a bad feeling about it, mainly of how fast it grew its userbase during the plebbit ban wave. It seems though it bled most of it since then even before all the crap has begun. If you look at some top smuggies on there, they were getting 500 or so upvotes, yet most milkit's posts got about 100 on average.

I don't know if was on the coder team or not, but he seems useful to the admins, which is probably why they took him back. In all reality, all the admins care about are probably their butt-buddies and general utility. The rest can perish for all the admins care.

You'll notice he avoided saying why he banned me - and there's no reason stated on my account either. Just that I'm permanently suspended. He knows he banned me for petty reasons - namely, I stepped on carparthianflorist's delicate toes. That's it.
He can ban and unban at ease. He does it with others. He could unban me but won't.

That's actually somewhat disturbing the more I think about it. But still there's nothing stopping the admins from blatantly taking over accounts and locking out the original user. But it's true, that this would have serious implications if the admins could and would do that on deleted accounts. But I doubt this will happen.
