The problem with invidio.us is that captions are enabled by default and it's not possible to permanently disable that.
Also they should add a script to adapt the video to the width of the browser's window while preserving the ratio.

That's weird, I never had that kind of problem. Captions are disabled by default for me, and I haven't heard of anybody else with your problem.
