Made a comment in a thread about helping finance catbox, it went like this:

  1. The owner quit Voat over a year ago and hasn't given any sign of life.
  2. Content has been censored in the past.
  3. The hardware that was in California was recently moved to ?.
  4. Suddenly financing is an issue & you're even invited to doxx yourself to catbox.moe for a sticker.

Now I hate to shit on the owner if it's still a legit hosting site because it's been a pillar for Voat these past couple of years & faggots around here are generally cheap bastards towards these things.

I was never a fan of catbox because they delete files after 1-2 years and it isn't a reliable source to host files

I've had experience with the catbox owner in the past. He's a chode. Gave AOU shit for pic8, even though AOU doesn't run pic8 lol
