We actually just had a podcast yesterday about doxxing. Web spoke openly about what he did and why, though I only caught the tail end of it.
so basically he admitted to doxxing?
means he's guilty then. fuck any excuse he has. can i also ask why poal harbors such a blatant doxxer? have him kicked out if he's guilty of these things.
if he's not kicked off poal, then i can only assume poal is 100% in support of doxxing like he pulls off
he must be punished. nothing justifies his actions
I hope they [@AOU ] will speed along the editing and release the recording so you can listen to it yourself. Though you seem to have dug your heels in on this.
As I understand it he doxxed in a sort of retaliation attempt. According to him, srayzie has doxxed plenty of people herself. Does this justify it? Idk. Our podcast was a discussion of when, if ever, doxxing is justified, when it is not in fact doxxing but reporting. Like I said I missed most of it, but I hope you can hear him speak for himself anyway rather than have me try to relay it.
As for other things you've alleged about him:
- recording website visitors IPs: I'm sure. Don't many sites log IPs?
- lying about linking to his site: i saw a voat post where you linked to his sidebar where the link was. Is it possible that when he denied it he thought you were referring to a more active promotion of the site such as making posts telling people to go there?
- harrassing you as srayziel1ve5 or whatever it was: this could have been Web or it could have been really any of the various shit-stirrers that frequent this place. Personally it doesn't seems like web's style, as he communicates very directly.
