Yep, I was one of them. I didn't actually lurk at FPH or care about it, but Chairman Pao banning it was the canary in the coalmine. I knew the censorship train goes only one way.

I first migrated to Voat when gundeals and WeekendGunnit first went offline. They both eventually came back online after but it was too late, I had already found a community that shared my beliefs and interests and wasn't going to ban me for voicing my opinions. Then the next 3 years were a pretty fuckin wild ride.
