DEI in action. Again.
Flight deck is dangerous af without sudden shifts.
Yep. Bad things happen on flight decks more than civilians know. Nothing to do with dei, etc. Just the nature of the beast and the cost of doing business on a 1000 ft. long airport on a rolling ocean.
My buddy was on another carrier when that cable snapped and took out like 12 people even killing someone. I was in’s quadrant with a chick that got her face fucked up from some of the cabling shrapnel. She was still kinda cute. But total slut. (Nothing to do with the flight deck arresting gear snap).
Man that sucks.
lol, yeah, the houthis shot a missle and the aircraft carrier turned to avoid it. Makes so much sense. WOW.
"Whoopsie Daisy"
Have to wonder if proper protocols were followed. Maybe not move aircraft during these turns?
There are many words you could use to describe the turn of an aircraft carrier.. I find it hard to believe "sudden" would be one..
Also isn't this the same carrier group which got side-swiped by a commercial container ship, and fired on two of its own friendly hornets (hitting one and nearly killing the two pilots)?
If so.. maybe the CAG is cursed.. maybe he is an idiot.. maybe someone else is to blame.. either way something probably needs to change.
“Sailors towing the aircraft took immediate action to move clear of the aircraft before it fell overboard.
I would have said I got the fuck out of the way, but immediate action sounds better than blind panic. Especially for (((war))) fighters.
