My local radio reported on this story this morning. They had a bit saying that the neighbor try to warn him by ringing his doorbell. The guy said he couldn't be bothered to get out of bed at 5am to answer the door. That's a guy who knows the importance of a solid 8 hours of rest.

The crew is reported to consist of Norwegian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian, and Russian seamen. The Daily Mail states: “It is understood the same vessel has run aground three times previously within the last three years.”

Ten bucks says they have a lot of vodka on board.
