The sequels were lacking somehow, the first one is pretty above par for that alien war stuff though.

The sequels were complete and utter slop. Not even worth a watch. Hell, even the CGI cartoon they did for a while was leagues better than the actual film sequels.
The book is still better than all of it though.

Never heard of this perhaps if I feel like making my brain suffer more I will look into these... Kinda got my fix for now though crapflix pushed out a series called Make My Day
