>“I don’t know that anyone gets anything out of seeing the same move over and over again. Martin was kind when he said it’s not cinema. He didn’t say it’s despicable, which I just say it is.”
Because Scorsese hasn't made the same generic gangster movie multiple times.
Correct, but the more Hollywood big-wigs speak out against Marvel bullshit, the better, get a little Hollywood Civil War going...
Yeah
But at least scorcese crafted something, the marvel thing reprents nothing but a new low in term of mediocrity, a shit product
Example; See scarface? Well you can love or hate the film, or be completely indifferent toward it, it doesn't change the fact that it inspired a whole generation (and more) of browns in the west, arabs for instance
They saw in tony montana, a fucking role model echoing their personal story; A "borderline legal" immigrant, who is also an absolute social loser and a scum, with the face of a rat, the temper of a rabbid dog, and the manners of thug, making it to the tope via dope deals and physical violence/terror
"-Got your attention?" It sure got theirs...
And I'm not saying this film had a positive impact on anything or that it should be mendatory viewing in kindergarten btw
