Hollywood is completely lacking in originality. It's not that there are no original writers -- it's that these writers can't get hired, and if by an act of random chance they do manage to get a job, they are not allowed to write what they want to write, but must try to write the drek dictated by the talentless producers. To be creative means being able to write what you believe in. Writing according to the liberal-fascist narrative is not creative.
