Maybe, this is non-woke compared to what else is out there but there is still some woke components. yes, the dutton family is conservative politically but there is still modern media identity “representation” and the “conservative” dutton family isn’t exactly shown in the best light.
I've been enjoying the show. It is pretty much impossible to find a show that isn't going to have woke elements, actors, or producers. Enjoy it for what it is, but I suggest pirating as to not contribute money to the Hollywood machine.
I love how it will be a room full of cattle hands drinking beer in the bunkhouse and all of a sudden a wild Netflix nigger appears at the picnic table.
I think there were three blacks in the city when I lived in MT. The acting is so bad in the season premier that I’m not sure I can watch more, even if it means having something to talk to my family about.
I just started dl'ing the first season bc I started watching 1883 (the prequel, history of the Dutton family) and both are awesome. I think I like 1883 better at this point but that may entirely be related to it staring Isabel May.
