How about if he was standing in a bucket of water, in a hot air balloon, launched from a sandbar? I mean, if standing in a bucket on a sandbar passes, at what point would the balloon violate the terms of the curse?
(This whole thing sounds reminiscent of the whole, "Well if Thor put his hammer on the floor of an elevator, and the elevator goes up, is the elevator worthy?"
