Eat non GMO organic. Also make sure to get a reliable filter for your water.

Unfortunately USDA Certified Organic recently decided that glyphosate is A-OK. So remember that when shopping, not to mention all of the other organic certifications have different definitions of 'organic'.

Better to buy local from farmers you trust.

Do you have any filter recommendations?

You must use a high grade reverse osmosis filter if you want to remove most carcinogens, heavy metals, fluoride, and glyophosphate.

That is the only way I know of to remove glyophosphate. It does produce extra waste water and you need to pay for filters, and you may need to supplement with magnesium and calcium (which it also removes from the water) depending on your diet.

glypho-sate, not gly-phosphate

A permeate pump will reduce the waste water, but also reduce the life of the RO filter. It's a trade off, but worth it in my opinion.

Is that why when I cooked a steak there it came out Grey instead of nice and juicey with the right amount of blood showing on a medium rare cook?

Store-bought meat is blasted with Carbon Monoxide to make it bright red and keep it red for longer than actual fresh meat. It is a marketing trick and people seem to have internalized this and now expect all their meat to be cartoonishly red.

It can be 100% organic and still sprayed with pesticides etc.

Do you have any filter recommendations?

A three stage filtration system is ideal, I have the Whirlpool WHAMBS5 but any will probably suffice. But just be aware that that still doesn't make a huge difference, you will probably never fully be able to escape fluoridation etc. Because it's in all of your drinks including milk, all teas naturally contain fluoride, your food esp vegetables and fruits, when you take a shower you're inhaling large quantities, canned food especially has fluoride in it. It's just kind of stupid trying to avoid it entirely honestly and it's naturally occurring anyways. Our ancestors all drank and ate fluoridated products and water, often probably far exceeding doses today.

One woman developed skeletal fluorosis from drinking tons of well water mixed with powdered tea, both containing high amounts of fluoride completely naturally. It's also a big issue in Africa. I think our levels probably aren't particularly egregious.

Thanks for the suggestion.

And good point, however from my understanding there are 2 types of flouride. There is naturally occuring flouride which has larger particle size and does not penetrate blood brain barrier. Then there is flouride a result of alluminum waste/manufacturing and that is what is 'added' (dumped) into public water supplies as it is highly toxic in concentrations and so it has been a mass strategy of dillution (and obviously the perks of dummbing down of the masses) since its introduction probably not long after mass scale alluminum manufacturing began. Our pre-industrial revolution ancestors didn't drink aluminum-flouridated water.

USDA Certified Organic recently decided that glyphosate is A-OK

Do you have a source for that? According to the current list of , glyphosate is not included.

thanks for doing due dilligence, I could not find my original bookmark on this but I do remember reading an article that suggested that Roundup was effectively AOK'ed within the past year or so.

here's an article I found how that doesn't describe the Roundup issue but does show how they will willy nilly change the definition of 'certified organic' whenever convenient:

if/when I find that bookmark I will try to rmber and DM you the link.

non GMO organic

Is this even possible? Every seed is GMO on some level.

[–] 1 pt

Only If you consider selective breeding, what humans have done since the beginning of agriculture, as GMO.

[–] 1 pt

GTFO Monsanto/Bayer shill.

Selected breeding has nothing to do with splicing a plants genome with foreign sequences so it can be 10x resistant to pesticides and herbicides... And also kills itself after its vegetative and flowering state to ensure you have to buy more seed from Monsanto.

[–] 1 pt

Every seed is GMO on some level

What? Where are you getting that? Genetic pollution is a thing but GMOs haven't been around long enough to get into everything.

[–] 0 pt

Genetically Modified Organism

All food we eat now has been modified over centuries to be more palatable, abundant, etc. This is a form of genetic manipulation via breeding strategies.

[–] 1 pt

Not perfectly.

Generally yes.

It's odd because seeds follow the wind and GMO can "contaminate" what would otherwise be GMO crops.

Also don't mix GMO with selective breeding. Selective breeding yields a perfectly healthy to eat result, whereas ALL GMO is unhealthy.

No it isn't possible and anybody who says otherwise doesn't understand what GMOs are.

I didn't know how much food had glyphosate in it till I was looking up because of my baby niece. Turns out a lot of baby food and cereal for kids have high levels. Rice, tea, chips etc too:

The lab found extremely high levels of glyphosate in some of the most popular U.S. food products, including Cheerios (1,125.3 ppb), Stacy’s Pita Chips (812.53 ppb), Doritos Cool Ranch (481.27 ppb), and Back to Nature Crispy Cheddar Crackers (327.22 ppb).

The highest glyphosate residues were found in Cheerios, a popular cereal that’s specifically marketed as “not made with genetically engineered ingredients.”

Just trusting labels don't work, you have to do the research for yourself especially if you have kids. No wonder they are all so fucked up these days:

As an ED, glyphosate and its formulation, Roundup® was reported to decrease testosterone hormone levels in adult rats [9]. The prenatal exposure of glyphosate disrupted the masculinization process and caused endocrine dysfunction in reproductive parameters of male offspring

Great post. Thanks a lot.

No prob, honestly the more I looked into it the madder got. Here's a recent Feb 2021 article:

A congressional investigation has found levels of arsenic, lead and other toxic metals that can harm brain development in many popular baby foods, including organic brands.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/food/2021/02/04/baby-food-toxic-heavy-metals-fda-congressional-report/4379474001/

In fucking baby food and snacks. Regulatory bodies don't give a shit.

What kind of name is Monsanto?

https://files.catbox.moe/0r7j1y.jpeg

It's like Hollywood. Jews trying to look Christian.

[–] 0 pt

I didn't know that, yet I am completely unsurprised.

eat corn or soy, it will be IN you

Chart the use of glyphosphate in agriculture and plastics usage and the lowering sperm counts and see if there's a pattern oO

Americans don't even give a shit anymoar... They're even lining up to get turned into a GMO with a 'vaccine'.

[–] 2 pts

This has been a thing in other countries as well where it has been used abundantly and many farmers got sick despite living a supposedly healthy life in the country.

[–] 1 pt

Doesn't the same agency list sunlight and sawdust as known carcinogens?

[–] 1 pt

Nobody tested my urine

[–] 1 pt

Glyphosate; not glyphosphate.

[–] 0 pt

So?

[–] 0 pt

Who let you out of your pod, soyboy?

[–] 0 pt

Eat a dick, nigger.

[–] 0 pt

I'm a nigger because I have a problem with 93% of Americans being poisoned? The fact that you respond to that with a passive "so?" really shows what a bitch you are. Are you also gonna take the "vaccine"?

Go eat the bugs, NPC.
