Why did he plead guilty? If anything he should be pleading Not Guilty and refusing to accept wrongdoing, and making them waste time and money to convict him.
>"Fuck you, I did NOT act unbecoming and am doing the RIGHT thing by calling into contempt the failures that all of you are at the senior level. Throw me in jail. I accept no wrongdoing"
He still kept like $2.5m from them Trump supporters.
Gotta link in this? I'd like to hear the reasoning behind that.
The media made it real clear that he was against Trump although I haven't looked too much into it.
The post came after he was locked up, for what that's worth.
This is straight from that article...
>In a Facebook post on September 25, Scheller said he didn’t want or need help from former President Donald Trump, who was trying to weigh in on his behalf.
>“President Trump, I was told by everyone to kiss the ring because of your following and power. I refuse,” Scheller wrote on Facebook. “I hate how you divided the country. I don’t need or want your help … tell your son to stop tweeting about me.”
>“Your whole family knows nothing about US or our sacrificies. I could never work with you,” Scheller wrote in the same post. “I’d rather sit in jail and be released with a dishonorable than make compromises in my beliefs.”
