No, it was actually a compressed AND cropped version - they cropped a muzzle flash out of frame in the version given to the defense team.

The prosecutors should be receive whatever punishment Kyle was being threatened with for pulling this kind of legal treachery.

What trial are they watching? They cucked out immediately to hamDA. They're making a new motion for mistrial WITHOUT PREJUDICE. They are subverting their own case by lowering their prior mistrial.

This case would have gone soooo much smoother had the general public / dissident right not gotten a hold of the narrative before the conservatives could get a grip of it. Unfortunately the narrative was pro Kyle and pro ‘self defense’ from the get go and the conservatives would have much preferred to just call him a racist white supremacist and throw him to the shitlib media wolves (like they did with Sandman) and then get down to ignoring and burying the story under a compost heap of covid cold takes and ‘let’s go Brandon’ retardation… Like they have with the McMichael case. At least then they wouldn’t have to pay lip service to this joke of a show trial.

Any judge would deny a motion for mistrial and let it go to appeal if there is a conviction. The appeal court could delve into the matter in greater depth.

Yeah I don't even see why they'd want a mistrial if it's looking like an acquittal. I guess the "with prejudice" means he can't be retried, but it seems like a long shot to expect them to throw out the whole trial.

So, using the excuse of idiotcy over malice, it sounds like this brain trust didn't realize that Apple imessage automatically compresses videos into a lower resolution to minimize the file size. That may be enough to let the prosecution get away with their tomfoolery.
