What idiot wants Amazon and the fbi/cia to have free access to your home in the first place?
Good. That's what you get for buying that crap.
Thats what you get for renting that crap, you never own it.
"Amazon, let me into my home".
"I'm sorry NPC cuck, I can't do that"
OPEN THE POD BAY DOORS, HAL!
eat the bugs
Big cloud is very dangerous.
Sounds like a LOL moment when amazon locks you out of your own home.
"You will be unable to access your domicile with renewal of your Amazon Prime subscription - Renew today" - Amazon
"You will be unable to access your domicile, and you'll be happy." - NWO
The Outage was just a test. They plan on locking you out when you don't obey.
In the future I see wearable patches that will just dispense boosters on command by the government. People are stupid and as long as they have their plasma TV, delivery food services they don't care.
My sister's mother in law's kids ran up $1500 in one week using "door dash" they were ordering "One Starbucks Frapazullas extra drizzle extra foam etc..." and paying what $15 for delivery. Every time they had a craving they would just push a button on the app. These spoiled demon kids take advantage pops pulls in $350K/yr. I hate them. I hate their privilege. I hate the smug looks on their lazy fat faces.
It's why they are pushing VR so hard. They want to lock us in a matrix-style pod, which will double as a euthanasia pod once you've outlived your usefulness.

Fucking hell, at that point buy your own coffee making equipment make large batches and freeze it so you have some on demand.
These kids don't give a shit it's not their money. Dominos, Jamba Juice, ColdStone, whatever they desired they just pushed the button even if they didn't meet the delivery minimum.
If my kids bought dumb shit they'd stop having access to my money, it doesnt matter if I could afford it it's the principle that matters.
Holy cow!
No sympathy. Any idiot that makes their home (personal) security dependent on a 3rd party deserves whatever happens to them.
"The Cloud" is someone else's computer.
Maybe that'll teach them a lesson. Naaa..., who am I kidding?
Dumb. Smart locks still have a physical key you can use, they just keep you from having to use it most of the time.
Mine also have buttons for a code. I'm not sure what these people's problem is. But idiocy probably.
I don't worry about it because picking a MasterLock isn't rocket science in the first place. It's equally insecure. And being online allows a nigger alarm
Outage (read: drill)..
Having these systems being 100% cloud based is only a way for them to ensure you’re locked in forever to pay them.
I’ve had ring before and no local storage options is insane since any interruption in network connection means no video is captured.
Given everyone’s network connection in the us is easily identifiable externally to a house , having a “guarded by ring” sticker makes you an easy target.
Sad part is all of these services work this way. I have smart bulbs that you can still manually force on by power cut / return for this reason.
