I still refuse to get one. The state bugs me a lot when I renew my license. I always tell them, "if you want me to have one so badly, just give it to me." I'm not paying $100 to some government agency for a copy of my birth certificate and taking that shit to stand in line for 3 hours to show some pencil-pusher to get the privilege of showing my papers at government checkpoints. Fuck you and your ID.

Yeah I just renewed and got the normal one. I rarely fly anyway. I'd just get the passport if I need to travel.
