Fairly Odd Parents was always jewed. As soon as first season showed potential, they got their beaks in. You can know by the "retarded father" trope they love to use. First season Cosmo used to be cool party-going guy, and then turned into literally retarded.

Why not just use new fairies? It was established in the original that there's tons of them. Just use new fairies in the same universe.
