Found it. There are quite a few stories out there, but it certainly looks like what I expected - nothing.
Forcing a recusal only effects this case, not every other case he didn't get caught for doing this, and no incentive to stop the behavior.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Ural Glanville was removed from the Young Thug YSL RICO trial in July 2024 after defense attorneys filed motions for his recusal. The removal was due to a meeting he held with prosecutors and a state witness without the defense present. While a colleague, Judge Rachel Krause, didn't find the meeting itself improper, she ruled that Glanville's actions in defending his handling of the matter made recusal necessary for public confidence in the judicial system.
