I know they are the Left and Right wing of the same damn bird, but in my opinion, this right here is the difference between Dems and Repubs.

The left would be rallying around this loser and defending him Repubs immediately call for resignation.

If he does not resign he should be kicked out of office immediately.

Given the stuff that has been thrown at trump, I want to see the evidence they actually have. Proposing the bill he did, would certainly make him the target of false accusations that the left always love doing to cancel people.
