The prosecutor in the court case didn't even pretend the case was about obtaining justice for the "poor, grieving (greedy, gold-digging) parents" -- he just came right out and told the jury that the case was about silencing Alex Jones in the future. But the law doesn't work that way. When you bring an accusation against someone, the trial is to determine the rightness or wrongness of that accusation -- not to limit or define the future activities of an individual. The law finds guilt, or innocence. The law deals with crimes, which are in the past, not with hypothetical, conjectured future actions. When you start trying to define and limit future behavior, you are not in the realm of law anymore, you are in the realm of political repression.
