MJ was killed because he owned 50% of all of sony's publishing rights and sony at the time had the rights for almost all artists. Sony tried to buy him out, failed. Then they tried to destroy his reputation and bury him in court, failed because he went on tour and raised enough money to defend himself. In the end they killed him. Even the father of one of the kids he was accused of molesting killed himself and stated before his death that they made it all up.

Michael Jackson had a lot of wealth and influence internationally in the media industry, to say nothing of the media he had creative and legal authority over. If I had the resources and lack of morals of the deep state and their ilk and could assume control of it all by simply killing him, I'd have dropped him ten times over.
