Let's look:

3,241,050 voted in 2020.

Trump got 200,000 more votes in 2020 than he did in 2016. That's 16% more than in 2016.

However, Biden got 17% more votes than Hillary did in 2016.

Okay, so where's the problem, again? Biden improved votes by 17% for "his side", not even close to being outside the normal election cycle fluctuation range.

Also, and to absolutely utterly destroy that news articles' entire point, registered voters was EXACTLY 3,684,726 voters, NOT 7 million like that fucking retarded article says. We have the link to this data, right here for Nov 2020:
