Many moons ago, I made an account and wrote an article on some piece of German literature I had just read. Others contributed and that article was improved way beyond my capabilities. It was glorious to watch. Made me believe in the concept of an encyclopedia created and maintained by the collective smarts of a networked civilization.
But alas.
Woke happened and gradually took over. And, as has been proven time and time again, everything woke turns to excrement.
These days, I'm happy if I can pull some technical info from this train wreck.

Wikipedia is a great concept. But today Satan rules this earth and nothing is free from evil subversion.
Today I use Wikipedia only for early life. Growing superfluous. And how many children famous white women have. Also not needed as all are low.

Once upon a time not that long ago every single educational facility would tell you wikipedia is not a reliable source because the sources are ignored and the articles are personally biased.
Now wikipedia articles quote other wikipedia articles and its now ok to use it as 'primary research'
