Simply said, it is contrary to the Laws of Nature. Inequality exists everywhere and inherent in all living creatures. To attempt to artificially change Nature is always met with retribution-- genocide, misandry, misogny, genocide and even extinction.

Women go insane when they try to fill the roles traditionally held by men, whether that's at home, in the workplace, or in the public sphere. Uninhibited mariarchy, without the limiting influence of patriarchial authority, leads to the destruction of every stable or productive institution. Everything good ends up sacrificed on the altar of compromise and catharsis.
