Once again demonstrating that men seriously competing against women is utterly ridiculous.

The women’s team represented the United States and featured what The Mirror describes as “several former US Women’s National Team internationals”. The team was coached by US women’s soccer legend Mia Hamm.

The men’s team represented Wrexham AFC, a Welsh professional team now owned in large part by actor Ryan Reynolds and while it featured older, retired players, it also featured at least one active professional Wrexham player, again as reported by The Mirror, a British publication.

In video footage of the game that’s gone viral online, the men’s team is seen scoring at will against the women’s team, all the way up until the very end, when a goal was scored easily after a steal in the game’s final seconds.

“Game over,” an announcer says. “12 [to] nothing, Wrexham defeats the US women.”
