It looks like they received death threats and they backed down. If she kept up her parity account, things could escalate past threats. I don't know how likely it would be for an actual murder to occur in response to her satire, but the left wing is dangerous. Harassment, vandalism and assault are real possibilities. They could go after the parents jobs, and their child is in danger. They haven't regained their anonymity; but they've decided to try not to provoke any further escalation for now.
