If I recall correctly, this stuff is extremely carcinogen and should never be exposed to skin.

Yep, that's why it's marketed for Industrial use only as a coating/ sealant for equipment/ infrastructure. Plus i didn't appreciate how they cut off the underwater test for the digital clocks, only running it to 22 secs. Mr Beast did a review of the product back in 2018 (he brought 55 gallons of it from them for $5 300 plus for the bottom coat / it alo needs the top coat to be applied afterwards - another $5 300 for 55 gallons ?/)) - short story - Overpriced sealer coating.

Yeah, after watching the oxygen escape from the clock in that test it was clear to me all it did was prevent it from failing immediately.

These products are interesting, but lots of voodoo associated with how their branded & marketed.

Im curious of the effect if I were to put this on the bottom of my boat. Would it travel through water better you think?

The problem is, it repels water but is otherwise fairly fragile, so any debris it touches will tend to scrape it off. I'm not sure how well it would do against microorganisms, so your hull might foul more quickly. Might be worth experimenting with, say on a small buoy, to see how it lasts.

Only costs like $70 quart for the top coat, and another $60 for the bottom coat. Go for it big spender!
