Love this guy's channel. I don't remember how I found him, but his videos are quite satisfying even if a lot of it goes over my head. I pick up bit and pieces here and there though, mainly how to use the equipment.
Explosions&fire is another good channel, with some interesting videos. Especially if you know some chemistry and can extrapolate

Very impressive, but he didn't turn plastic gloves into anything. He extracted a specific chemical from them and used it as one ingredient in a hot sauce recipe.
Yeah, my thought after watching a good portion of it. It would be like saying you made a cake from tap water. Technically what he does is skilled, and there are probably some things you can only reasonably make this way.
What good is a chemist if he has no common sense. This is merely one chemical of hot sauce. This is up there with one of the worst posts I’ve seen on this site in years. Did everyone get there booster shots here? It certainly seems like all the commenters here are fully vaxed . My kids can do better with their chemistry sets.
