Some enterprising inventor needs to make a sail that you can wear on your back like a backpack while riding a bicycle. When the wind is against you,the sail stays folded up, but when the wind is at your back, you can pull a cord and open the sail. Free energy! When you change direction and the wind comes in your face, pull another cord and the sail folds back into the backpack.
The downside of this is that it would restrict you to moving at the or just above the speed of the wind. The upside, you wouldn't need to pedal for half your ride.
