I think about this experiment all the time. When you put a population in a box they will eventuall lose the will to live. They dont commit suicide mind you they just fail to have any children.
Earth is the box. We are not mice. One day we can make it to other boxes. There is a near infinite number of boxes we need to discover.
propaganda like "there is no planet B" is directed at whites and perfectly worded to make people instinctvly want to have fewer children.
I mean, you could also argue that the morality against eugenics does the same
Our brains are significantly more complex than a mouse brain but the base instincts are still there. thousands of idologies, political topics, and factors go into our reasoning and actions. but at the same time the things we do boil down to simple instinct. We get up and walk over to the fridge for a drink because our brain says it wants some sugar. We browse throught poal every day because getting a reply gives us a dopamine hit. and people decide not to have children because the society is dead. they may say they are not having kids because of financial reasons or to save the planet or because they dont want the responsability of raising a kid. but the real reason is the unconsious one.
