Every time science makes an advance or invents another technology, people rush to apply it as a model of reality. The phonograph, the radio, the television, fractals, were all used as models of reality. Now it is the computer, and virtual reality. If science continues to advance (a big "if" given the woke nature of universities) in a few decades the model of reality will be some other technology. The reality about reality is that it is so far beyond our limited comprehension that our models and metaphors of it bear little relation to it.

We could all be in a simulation to test how giving Israel a state after world war ii would effect world progress as a evidence to show the last few Jews that exist in a future court case that it absolutely positively wasn't wrong to have not done that in their final execution appeal. That would be the only satisfaction I might be able to gain from this bullshit unless of course the pendulum swings so hard that the final tally to the number of countries the Jews have been kicked out of equals earth.

My descendants wouldn't be such shit programmers, and I'd be sitting in a hot tub right now eating pop-tarts with 1954 Kim Novak.

"Perception is reality"

The reality is: reality is just your interpretation of vibrations.

Nothing is "real", space and time don't exist, they are concepts created by your mind, which isn't real either. Existance itself is 100% smoke and mirrors. For what purpose? Well if everything was nothing that would be boring. Who is responsible? We all are. We are one. So you assholes get your shit together, you're harshing my mellow.

More concretely, we perceive the world in relation to our goals. We survive in a 3D world, have predators (including time), reproduce, etc. We live in a body that has locomotion. We perceive things like light. Our basic perception of things is shaped by this.

That's been a suggestion since forever ago.

Goyim, it's all a simulation, no need to strain yourself, just sit back and wait for it all to play out.

There are reasons why we are not in a simulation. However, currently there is a lot that normies perceive as real that is not. People in general must perceive the big Transition as a reasonable sequence of events. Both sides are fed doses of hope, but the left's hopes keep getting dashed little by little. The right's hopes are only partially fulfilled. Which initially makes us upset, but with time we take the win and press on. The wins we don't see are much bigger.
