Yep. And taking credit for it too. By "synthetic" they mean either a complete lie and fabrication or theft and misattribution with modification. This is the lies they always tell. They did nothing but lie or steal and modify. Absolutely nothing "synthetic" about it.

Expanding on my comment. They know they require replacing God and as such, they need to create a new clergy who are rivals in God's creations. This is why they constantly lie about the origins of life and synthetic creations of life.
