Unfortunately, if the narrative is the bullseye on a dart board, the alternatives are the rest of the board, the wooden case around, the wall, and pretty much the entire rest of the world for the craziest crazies out there. Perhaps you could say the real truth is a dart board on another wall. The alternatives to the lie are vast. The narrow consistency of the lie doesn't make it true, though.
