This was mentioned in the other post about "self hosting is not the future". For some people it would be easy-mode. I still prefer to set things up myself though I do run a few "apps" on my TrueNAS Scale to simplify management.

The SelfPrivacy server is created within an hour. It is available only in cloud hosting.

Nope.

Yeah, I didn't read that part. That removes the entire fucking point of owning your own data. If you put it on "someone elses computer" it's not yours.

Running a mail server is funny, I can see you wanting to have that on a reputation-based IP. The rest of that stuff can be easily hosted at home.

I have been running my own mail server since 2008. It can be a massive PITA. I am not sure I suggest anyone do it unless you actually want to understand what it takes these days. It's a bitch to get some providers to accept email from you.

You could setup your SMTP server on a hosted VM with a reputable IP address and have the mail exchange server (the one that receives mail) on your own home, Hillary Clinton style machine.

I’m not paranoid enough to bother though. Unless I get law enforcement after me no one is going to examine my hosted VM’s drive to figure out how things are setup and poke through my mail. It’s private enough.

edit: If you can pass their ridiculous requirements you can also use an external sender like Sendgrid.
