FFS, the last thing I need right now is something else to try on a pi4. I guess I've gotta.
Anyone got the official pi keyboard? Trash. I'd like a 400, but only if I could remove it and toss the keyboard. The 4's run too hot even with their supposed efficiency updates.
I have one of the official keyboards and mice. They're both of what I'd call good, daily-use quality. Nothing special, but the mouse is a bit nicer than some of the other similar priced ones I've used over the years. It has a bit heavier feel to it.
The mouse is what you'd expect from any cheap optical mouse, so I have nothing to complain about. I don't know how anyone could use the flimsy, 2 gram, tiny keyboard as a daily driver given they had any other option or had ever used any other keyboard.

I don't have any problem with the keyboard, it's just a plain jane island style. I've gone through several of those Logitech ones, however, the spacebars like to quit.
