It's funny but when I read the specs I am still impressed it runs at almost FIVE HUNDRED MEGAHERTZ! Then when I get over my Joe Biden moment I remember those $5 Pi Zeros run twice as fast....

This is designed for embedded stuff where you need a lot of IO that can be accessed under a RTOS. The fact that it can run GNU/Linux is kind of secondary.
