Introducing the latest Raspberry Pi board you won't be able to get hold of and at a price you will never actually see in the wild!

I've given up on RPi for projects because they are overpriced and under-stocked. It wasn't just the (((plandemic))) (((chip shortage))) that ruined it for me. I gave up when the Pi Zero was market priced at 5 to 10 times higher than the MSRP and completely unavailable right after launch and even longer down the road. Plenty of other SBCs out there that can fill the gap for most projects. I'll stick with those.

just takes patience, i usuially get mine from element14 at their bottom price. You have to go thru an official pi vendor for those prices. Resellers jack em up and drop em on ebay and amazon etc

Units are available to pre-order today

What does that mean? Have they been taking classes at the jew school of English? So if I were to pay actual money for a "pre order" would I get actual hardware?

Seriously, they expect people to pre-order something they haven't been able to deliver since 2021?

Ummm.... I'm going to hold off until I can actually see one at Microcenter in person.

Oh you silly boy, just pay the money now.

LOL. I did order a version 4, I still haven't received it. My card finally expired, so now I'll never get it. No point, since the 5 is out.

Subsequently, I bought many Le Potatos and they work just fine.

Maybe for fun, I'll order a 5 and see if I ever receive it.

I've had a CM4 on order for near a year. We'll see if it ever arrives.

The question is will it be sold out for months.

You can't sell out of what you never had to sell...
