The producers of the movie should sue him, maybe under a tortuous interference theory. His deliberate actions have caused them to lose potentially tens of millions of dollars. Though, you could mount the defense that they knew full well that King was a deranged leftist when they engaged him and should have expected him to do something like this.

Yes they should. Despite King ever being a great writer (which he was once), he deserves none of his wealth and should be sued in to the ground.

King wrote this story a long, long time ago. It was one of his first, published under his pseudonym of Richard Bachman. It's actually a great story and it's truly devastating, especially if you're a parent. Sure, the premise is a little out there, but if people believe the Mockingbird crap, The Long Walk is plausible. The story, though, is good. And if you like horror, it's worth a read. King is surely a complete ass, but he used to be a great writer.
