Worth remembering this heavily applies to the flat-earther/5G/nanobots/HARRP/moonlanding loons, before anyone in here starts thinking that everyone else is a sheep and only they know the tRuTh... Everyone is affected by this, and if you can't re-evaluate when you might be wrong, then you may be wasting your life on clown ideas.

There was an interesting radio programme on the BBC about why people are authoritarian, and basically about a 3rd of us just are, and it's mostly genetic with a few random life events that guide people that way. r/K selection theory explains this but the program didn't mention it?

typical jew media presenter was really pissed when the researcher pointed out that authoritarian thinking includes AntiFa, and this wasn't all going to be about Trump like she wanted it to be.

I believe this effect is called cognitive dissonance. I see this everywhere with people. Anytime I try to challenge someone's false beliefs, most of the time they go apoplectic and start yelling talking points louder and louder.

People freak out and can’t handle it
