"Tenopah?" lol. Another interesting old building in Tonopah is the recently renovated and resurrected Mizpah Hotel and Casino. ...and several miles south of Tonopah is Goldfield, which was a mining boomtown of the early 1900's. Most of Goldfield was also destroyed by fire, in 1923. It's almost a ghost town, yet it is the seat of its county of Esmeralda. There's an interesting "car art" museum there and the ruins of the old Florence Hill mine are impressive. To the east of the highway between Tonopah and Goldfield is the town of Silver Peak, the site of the only active lithium source in operation in the United States.
Do they have a mine tour?
I visited Calico, Ca a few years back, they had the whole town set up to walk through and tour, it was very pleasant... because it wasn't tarantula season at the time!
Goldfield is much more remote and sparsely populated than a place like Calico Mine. I am not sure there are any organized tours, but there are certainly some nearby areas that can be explored (at your own risk and potential peril). They have antique fire engines and equipment on display downtown by the firehouse, and the old courthouse built in 1907 is operational. I would inquire locally about where you can go and what to do. Be respectful of property rights, etc. --It's Rural Nevada, so 2A is pretty much alive and well. There is a bit of mining activity still going on to this day.
