This guy is numb-er than a pounded thumb.
First, that only works with those cheap Walmart hammers that curve at a steep angle. Nicer hammers are much flatter than that. Second, nicer hammers also have a magnet on the top of them and a little area to set the nail for this exact purpose, but you can use the hammer forwards instead of backwards like this.
I suppose that could be useful if you've never swung a hammer before. Retards.
I have a $300 hammer. It has a magnetic nail holder on the head.
