You know how Texas rivers work? I don't get it.
The Sabine river feeds Lake Tawakoni and yet they still draw water (lots of water) from Lake Fork which is only fed by rain and a few creeks and shit. Then they send that water to Dallas. I have almost 400 feet of shoreline but the water is like 200 yards away because the lake is so low :(

Hmmm I have lots to learn myself. Did you ever go research the 1968 Texas Water Plan (never came to fruition, by 5000 votes). Now that was crazy!
No, I've never heard of that. I don't actually live in TX yet. I am still in WA but I own property on Lake Fork. I've built a shop on it with an RV shelter that I have my travel trailer on. I go down there occasionally for RnR.
I believe strongly in Texas as a state, idea, and hopefully Republic once again. We have unique issues and ways of dealing
