On March 14, 2023, Texas Republican elected officials State Representative Jeff Leach and State Senator Joan Huffman introduced HB 2780 and SB 728 two companion bills designed to add more records of Texans into the National Instant Criminal Background Check Systems (NICS). These two bills would prohibit the Texans entered into the NICS system from owning or buying firearms.

On the other hand, I personally know of and have dealt with a very fucked up 14 year old who executed two kneeling people with head shots over a drug debt. Under our state law, if he is not tried as an adult (he wasn't--fucking weak-ass prosecutor), then his record is not admissible if he commits another crime between 17 and 21 and then permanently sealed. Do you woke mother fuckers think he's "reformed" and should be able to purchase a gun? Some people should NEVER be allowed to have guns. Yes, that's very rayciss!
The example you give is a good one, in that it shows the abuse of the system from the other direction. If he executed two people he should face the death penalty.
Court says we can't kill 14 yo. I don't think we can even give them life. We can certainly tell them no guns ever and fuck them over if they are caught with one.
