26 last year, on track for 30 (14 so far) this year. Good thing our state rep passed the bridge strike bill so the owner pays for repairs

Gianni Windahl is an awkward kinda hot.

2 things they could do with this. Have a camera setup with sensors so if I truck hit the bridge a picture will be taken. The other one prevents the strike. Put up a sensor like a stick overhead before the bridge. If a truck moves the stick then huge stop leds light up stopping traffic and police are sent to the scene to get the truck to turn around safely. Heck if the trucking company has more trucks to tall tell the dispatchers to forbid their drivers from using that road or give the drivers an alternative way to get to their destination or buy shorter trucks for the customers they have on that route. This is all stuff in my second idea that can stop this outright. Out of state truckers the stick sensor would be the best way it would also stop dumb dump truck drivers from leaving their backends up in the air. Hell you could also use a libar system on the bridge to scan the area constantly for higher than passable loads/vehicles.
