I was fully expecting they were going to call it covid-19. He had all the symptoms. Dry cough, trouble breathing, etc.

Imagine trying to restrain someone numb from fentanyl, which is almost 100x stronger than morphine, and also jacked up on crystal meth? They wouldn’t feel any pain and they’d also have a psychotic level of energy. No wonder his heart gave out.

Yeah the cop fucked up but he could have just been responding to someone in a drug psychosis.

I did a quick interweb search and found this article saying the same. You have to read a bit to get to the drug reference.

Way down near the bottom:

The Hennepin County medical examiner's office, however, said Floyd experienced cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by the officer. The county autopsy said Floyd had "other significant conditions" including "arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; [and] recent methamphetamine use." The office had not previously released the findings pending toxicology reports.

Fox News just reported it too on Hannity. Floyd’s lawyer is calling it character assassination.
