Discipline Is Just Having A High Tolerance For Discomfort
This is an extremely true statement and is refreshing from all the other bullshit headlines I see here daily.
Start looking at having Discipline as simply having a high tolerance for uncomfortable feelings. Tolerance can be trained like a muscle. Every second you spend doing something you don’t really feel like doing is training yourself to be stronger. It simplifies Discipline.
Most around us (including ourselves) are groomed to be addicted to affirmation. If we can learn the chemical tolerance (like building up a tolerance to lactic acid in muscles) we might have a chance to unravel the many layers of psyop around us and can become empowered rather than triggered when we are challenged with loss aversion.
Everyone needs to read this kind of shit and needs this kind of lesson soon.
