"...but having that support network of family to help us with the other parts of life and also my parents are getting older you don’t want to be too far away,”

which usually translates for women my parents have been a piggy bank and gave me money and I look forward to receiving that money yearly and look at it as part of my salary.

"I’m not searching for a mansion in the eastern suburbs, I just want a family home with a small backyard for my daughter, close to family as my parents get older. But unfortunately you have to be a millionaire to have the privilege of owning your own home in Sydney,”

Her hypergamy is making her realize she married down and not up. She wants more than what she's saying and wants her husband to earn the money to fulfill her dreams.

“I don’t want to come across as ‘poor us’ as we know there are people in worse situations, but it can’t keep going on with the property market like this.”

What she's actually saying I've seen poor people but I don't do anything about it becuase ewwwww. I never want to be looked at like that. But the housing prices should come down to my expectations without me having to put in any effort.

You're assumptions are as retarded as you are. How can you be against multigenerational family units, you Godless faggot?

I bet you even bought into that 'Nuclear Family' meme, and probably carted your parents off to a nursing home the moment they were a burden.

Whites are shamed for it because it concentrates wealth.

The Bar Mitzvah is single most brilliant Jewish strategy of all time. Consistently gifting young Jewish men copious amounts of money, allowing them to invest it and compound for an extremely long time period.

This whole "making it on your own" story is cool, if you can do it. But the jews didn't get to the place they are by all going alone.

They out their people before anything else, and it paid off.

Found a person who doesn't care about their people.

Why work for what you have when you can leech off your parents? $ounds about right.

Blame (((hedge funds))) for high home prices. Capital isn't worth anything but real estate is. REITS buy up real estate and so do foreigners. These investment homes house noone. The effect is prices go up because supply goes down. Not to mention taxpayers are subsidizing illegal aliens moving into domestic housing stock. That reduces supply further and raises prices.

However, now that office buildings are empty, there may be a way out.

$100,000 in fees; wouldn't have a deposit

The country and the majority of people are OK but add in all the other absurdities of modern day life a huge shame culture and tall poppy syndrome with a population of 1860s America it gets old quick.

That's fucking outrageous even if it is roo-bux. Shit, just rent and invest that money till the markets return to sane levels or bite the bullet and move to somewhere cheaper.

I feel for them. Australia only recently realised they needed to secure a homeland for the future of their children. Wealthy Asians have driven the cost of rent and homeownership beyond what locals could ever possibly afford without an inheritance, causing their fertility rate to plunge. The youngest Millenials are turning 25 and the oldest will be 40 this year. If with $100k in savings they still cannot qualify for a starter home in the area they grew up in, this isn't an entitlement; it's a travesty.

Might be time to look elsewhere. And cut the umbilical to mom and dads bank account.

Homestead. You can buy a piece of marginal land for less than $100,000 and be totally self sufficient within 5 years. Fuck the rat race.

Aren't Chinese driving up the prices for homes in Australia?

That's the reason the "students" were let back in the country under the guise of being students but Australians can't leave their own country. Rules for then unless you have an envelope with money.
